About HeartCode ACLS

The online segment is accessed and completed before attending an instructor-led skill session. Throughout the approximately 6.5-hour online segment, learners are presented with a team dynamics lesson, 10 ACLS hospital-based case scenarios, and a written exam (passing is 84% or better). Both the case scenarios and written exam can be retaken until passed.

The skill session will occur on ZOOM to support social distancing measures. During the live, instructor-led, Zoom-based skill session, the instructor will facilitate the assessment of CPR skills, observe a megacode scenario, and review real-time ECG monitoring with learners. The only difference between our in-person option and the Zoom option is the virtual location.
