AHA HeartCode BLS – Hands-On Skills Session

The AHA HeartCode BLS Skills Session is the hands-on portion of the American Heart Association’s blended learning BLS Provider Course.

IMPORTANT: This is a hands-on skills session only. This is NOT a complete classroom BLS course.

Before attending this session, you must  successfully complete the AHA HeartCode BLS online course.

Before Attending Your Skills Session

You must:

1. Separately purchase the AHA HeartCode BLS online course.
2. Complete the entire online portion before your scheduled skills session.
3. Print or save your HeartCode BLS completion certificate.
4. Bring your completion certificate with you to your hands-on skills session.

During the in-person session, an AHA instructor will evaluate your BLS skills, including CPR, ventilations, and AED use.

After successfully completing both the HeartCode BLS online portion and the required hands-on skills session, you will receive your official American Heart Association BLS Provider eCard.

Your eCard will be sent to the email address associated with your registration and will be valid for two years from the date you successfully complete the hands-on skills session.

Important Registration Requirement

Completion of the HeartCode BLS online course is required BEFORE attending this event.

In addition to our full event policy, no refunds will be issued to participants who arrive without proof of successful completion of the required HeartCode BLS online portion.
