The online, hybrid HeartCode BLS course is developed by the American Heart Association and yields an AHA BLS Provider card once all steps are completed.

BLS Skills

Throughout the approximately 90 minute online segment you’ll see videos, simulations, and even direct medical providers on what they need to do in various clinical simulations. You’ll wrap up the online segment by taking a written test. Don’t worry you can repeat every aspect of the online segment until you pass. Then print out your online segment completion certificate and bring it with you to this skill session. The HeartCode BLS option is extremely flexible and many of our public skill sessions are not cancelled because they support as few as one learner.

How do I get my AHA certification card with this BLS Skill Session?

  1. Complete the online course (PURCHASE ONLINE SEGMENT, if it’s not included in your purchase). Then print out your online segment completion certificate and bring it with you to this skill session.
  2. Register for and pass a hands on session (or attend the date we set up if a skill session is not included in your purchase). This segment is called a BLS Skill Session. Our hands on session will help learners recognize what good CPR feels like while increasing their confidence in responding to an emergency. Our hands on skill sessions are focused and meaningful practice sessions which include skills testing.
  3. Get your official AHA BLS Provider eCard. You’ll receive an electronic card within 24 hours or less of completing this hands on session. The card will be good for two years from the date of passing the hands on skill session.
