ACLS ClassThe ACLS class is a 100% classroom training, which means students are with an AHA instructor for their entire learning experience and except for a required online pre-test, there's nothing more done online. The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) classroom course is developed by the American Heart Association and is designed to train learners in the importance of emergent cardiac care in the context of team dynamics and systems of care. ACLS is created for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies.

The ACLS Initial class is a two day class dedicated to new ACLS learners (or those with expired certifications), while the ACLS Renewal class is a fast paced 6 to 8 hour refresher class. You may also want to consider adding on a BLS Provider certification to your ACLS classroom course from the CPR Training Company. It’s as 1-2-3, three! Read More.

Common learners who attend an Advanced Cardiac Life Support course are physicians, nurses, paramedics, and other licensed independent healthcare providers.
