Course Formats
ACLS can be delivered in four formats to meet the needs of students and offer flexibility for Instructors. All formats include the same learning objectives and result in the same AHA ACLS course completion card which is good for two years from content completion.
In-person, AHA Instructor-led classes remain the number one choice among most learners and deliver both the cognitive and psychomotor components in a classroom setting.
Blended learning merges the self-directed online HeartCode ACLS eLearning cognitive information with either an in-person or virtual, AHA Instructor-led hands-on learning experience. With the blended learning option, learners can cover content at their own pace and even get CMEs!
To get started, purchase and complete the online HeartCode segment before attending our AHA Blended Learning ACLS Skill Session.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is an AHA approved training option which offers and ACLS online option, AHA ACLS Manual, and covers advanced cardiac life support information that is useful for both ACLS recertification and first time ACLS providers.
