HOW CAN I BECOME AN AHA INSTRUCTOR?

There are several national organizations which can help you become a CPR instructor. One of the most notable is the American Heart Association.

SIMPLE CPR INSTRUCTOR steps

CTC AHA Instructor Badge

    • Enroll in one of our AHA Instructor Classes
    • Have current AHA provider status (aka current provider card) in the discipline for the Instructor Course you will attend and be proficient in all the skills of that discipline. AHA disciplines include Heartsaver, BLS, PEARS, PALS, ACLS and ACLS EP.
    • Successfully teach your first course under supervision (aka monitoring) within six months of completing the discipline-specific classroom Instructor Course.
