More About the PALS Renewal Class
This highly interactive and instructor-led PALS class builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. The PALS class is an advanced course that uses DVD, simulation, and role-playing to highlight the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics. The goal of the PALS Course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.
During this class, learners will work with a CPR Training Company AHA PALS Instructor to complete PALS skills practice and skills testing. The class wraps up with learners completing a written exam. Learners are strongly encouraged to brush up on ECG reading skills and PALS pharmacology before coming to this class.
