We are still open for business and we take the threat of COVID-19 very seriously. However, any learner with the presence of, or exposure to, someone with a fever (>38 ºC or 100.4 ºF), cough, difficulty breathing, and/or sore throat will not be allowed into our training environment(s). At this time only healthcare classes/skill sessions are available because they are essential in keeping front line healthcare staff ready to save lives.

PALS Skill Session

How do I get my American Heart Association certification card with this PALS Skill Session? AHA Skill Session

  • Separately purchase and complete the online course before attending this session (PURCHASE ONLINE SEGMENT). Throughout the approximately 6.5 hour online segment, you will see videos, simulations, and even direct medical providers on what they need to do in various clinical simulations. You’ll wrap up the online segment by taking a written test. Don’t worry you can repeat every aspect of the online segment until you pass. Then you will print out your online segment completion certificate and bring it with you to this skill session.
  • ACLS Initial OptionRegister for and pass a hands-on session (this event), otherwise known as a PALS Skill Session. Our hands-on skill sessions are meaningful practice sessions that end with skills testing.
  • Get your official American Heart Association PALS Provider Card. You’ll receive an electronic card within 24 hours or less of completing this hands-on session. The card will be good for two years from the date of passing the hands-on skill session.

Our Frederick, MD location provides American Heart Association CPR, First Aid, BLS, ACLS, and PALS classes as well as instructor led hands on skill sessions for the larger Baltimore and DC region. This location is at the Frederick Airport’s Signature Flight Support Building’s (2nd Floor). This location is open by appointment only.
