Can you get CPR certified for free?

Free CPR certifications are a thing of the past, at least from reputable organizations. Organizations like the American Heart Association, Red Cross, and the American Safety Health Institute, etc. charge their instructor card fees. For example, AHA card fees (for a basic CPR class) can cost the instructor as much as $45 just for the card. Then consider CPR equipment costs around $4,500 just to get started. The bottom line is CPR is no longer free from any reputable training provider.
