AHA HeartCode BLS – Hands-On Skills Session

Complete your American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification through blended learning!

The AHA HeartCode BLS program combines flexible online learning with an instructor-led, hands-on skills session. This option allows healthcare professionals and other individuals who require BLS certification to complete the knowledge portion online at their own pace before demonstrating their skills in person.

Important: This registration is for the hands-on skills session ONLY. It is not a traditional classroom course. Participants must purchase and successfully complete the AHA HeartCode BLS online course separately before attending.

What to Expect

During the instructor-led skills session, participants will demonstrate essential Basic Life Support skills, including:

• High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants

• Proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

• Effective ventilation techniques

• Recognition and response to life-threatening emergencies

• Team-based resuscitation skills

Participants must successfully complete the required hands-on skills evaluation to receive their AHA BLS Provider eCard.

Before Attending Your Skills Session

1. Purchase the AHA HeartCode BLS online course separately. Heartcode® BLS Online

2. Complete all required online learning modules and assessments.

3. Print or save your online course completion certificate.

4. Bring your completion certificate to your scheduled hands-on skills session.

Certification

Upon successful completion of both the online course and hands-on skills session, participants will receive an official American Heart Association BLS Provider eCard.

The eCard will be delivered electronically to the email address provided during registration and is valid for two years from the successful skills completion date.

Important Registration Policy

Completion of the online HeartCode BLS course is mandatory before attending the hands-on skills session.

Participants who fail to provide proof of online course completion at the beginning of their scheduled session will not be permitted to participate. No refunds will be issued for failure to meet this requirement, in accordance with CPR Training Company's event policies.
